Global Confidence Rises to 11-Month High as Credit Markets Thaw

April 16 (Bloomberg) -- Confidence in the global economy
rose to an 11-month high as officials stepped up efforts to thaw
credit markets, stocks rallied and some banks returned to
profit, a Bloomberg survey of users on six continents showed.
The Bloomberg Professional Global Confidence Index climbed
to 21.2 in April from 5.95 in March, the biggest increase since
the survey began in November 2007. A reading below 50 means
pessimists outnumber optimists. Sentiment climbed the fastest in
Asia and the U.S. as respondents around the world became more
confident the worst may be over for their economies.
“The outlook was completely hopeless a month ago and now
there’s a slight ray of hope that a recovery in financial
markets will lead to a recovery in the broader economy,” said Chris Rupkey , chief financial economist at Bank of Tokyo
Mitsubishi UFJ Ltd. in New York, and a survey participant.
“Things are not as gloomy as before. We will improve slowly,
probably in fits and starts.”
Do new cars sold in Mexico for the Mexican market have airbags?

Since 1998, in the USA, all new cars have dual front airbags, but what about Mexico? Do new cars sold there have airbags? Do some and some don't? Does the Mexican government have any auto safety laws?
Airbags are not mandatory, but most cars do have them for almost 10 years now.... cheaper versions of the same cars may not have them while the more equipped ones do

Mexican has voted to legalize Abortion. This can be major business for Planned Parenthood and other amoral abortion providers.
Do you remember that the first thing Bush did as a president was to sign a bill denying funding to organisations that work overseas that provide abortions?
What that ended up doing is cutting funding for Planned Parenthood, etc. abroad. For example the Guatemalan extension of Planned Parenthood, APROFAM, never did abortions, however it had more limited funding to provide basic health care to women who had few rights to begin with.

Housing Market in Albuquerque or New Mexico?

Hi, i've always been fascinated with New Mexico because i've heard it is a beautiful place. i'm just wondering what the current housing market is like in Albuquerque or Santa Fe, would you recommend me buying a house there?
Plus, I heard Albuquerque and Santa Fe are good markets for New technologies such as nanotechnologies. Besides, what's there to do in these places?
I'd recommend it. Of course, I'm bias because it's my home. Even though, I've grown up in Albuquerque, I like Santa Fe better. The houses in Santa Fe are much more though. That's in general of course. If you're in the technology sector, there's a lot of jobs in science and math. You've got 2 national labs in NM ... if you live in Santa Fe.. there's people that go to Los Alamos labs, and there's the Sandia Labs. Over in Sandia Labs we have a lot of nuclear warheads .. around 2,000+ and they develop nuclear things at Los Alamos Labs. The Airforce Base also experiment with a lot of techology and weaponry. Then there's Intel and some other technologies plants around Albuquerque. Other than that, NM has a highly diversified mix of cultures. Well, the 3 are native american traditional stuff, old hispanic things starting from like 1598 or something and of course American history.
Houses in Albuquerque are lot cheaper than those in California and other places. If you could afford it though, I suggest somewhere with lot of land, but now is where you can get deals for a lot of land for relatively cheap.
