The Service Excellence Awards honor companies in the electronics

Bob Hayes (RIP) Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2009 and FAMU allum was coached by the famed Florida A&M University football and track coach Jake Gaither. Gaither earned a Masters Degree in Physical Education at OHIO STATE UNIVERISITY in 1937 before becoming assistant and later head coach for the Rattlers. A position he held until 1969.
Rudy Hubbard, (Possibly) one of the first African American Coaches (in any sport) in the Big Ten, who lead the Rattlers to 2 National Championships in the late 70's was a Buckeye Alum as well. "He was one of the candidates for Woody's job but said that he wouldn't be able to live up to Woody's legacy and turned it down. He was also the first African-American coach to join Woody's staff in 1968 as running backs coach after his playing days. He personally recruited Archie Griffin and Cornelius Greene to Ohio State".
